I AM SCARY OF UPGRADE TO PT12 AND CANNOT USE NOR PT10, 11 OR 12 SIMPLY BECAUSE ILOK ACTIVATION ON PT12.6+ IS VERY HARD AND TROUBLE.

I have Pro Tools 10 LE On OS X 10.7 Lion, but unfortunatelly, my macbook white only goes until os x 10.7.5 and 4 GB RAM DDR2, I need work with video (dubbing/sound mixing stereo) and here for april I will doing the upgarade from Pro Tools 10 to Pro Tools 11, BECAUSE PT12.6/12.7 HAVE SEVERAL ERROR REPORTS OF ILOK ACTIVATION PROBLEMS.

Is possible install Pro Tools 11.3.1 or 11.3.2 on OS X Sierra? I am asking because I'm planning buy a mac new and everything idicates that will come with os x sierra, or PT11 just working if you do an upgrade from os x yosemite to sierra? Is very important to me know this information, if exist some version of Pro Tools 11 that WORKS INSTALLER ON OS X 10.12 Sierra, or if exist some way of do a downgrade A NEW MAC (2017) for os x 10.10.5 Yosemite or El Capitan. I'm really upset, though, that I would have to spend extra $$ now to get the PT 12 upgrade, when, frankly, I'm not even convinced that it is totally compatible at this point. (By the way, initially after the Sierra upgrade I was having problems with other software too, FocusRite in particular, but they were able to provide fixes (Firmware and Drivers) that got me up and running with my Digital Audio Interface. I'm beyond frustrated as I was told by Avid corporate that I would have to upgrade to PT 12 in order to get Sierra compatibility. Now my Pro Tools 11 does not work at all. Unfortunately, I jumped the gun and upgraded to Sierra OS.

TLDR Track record clearly shows no update is ever coming for PT11 If any other piece of kit or software in my studio costing $400+ had a shelf life of less than 3yrs until it was no longer supported, I'd be mad also. OSX 10.8 released JIt sucks and it makes me mad. OSX 10.10 released 3yrs!!!!
